Cyclopses, Golden fleece, Demi gods

Hey bloggers, warrior goddess here, apologies for the long wait since my Last blog Post, Well So today I went in and seen Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters in 3D

First Off Let Me say if you have Not read the Books you totally must! Rick Riordan himself is a great writer And ... Illustrates his scenes Beautifully, And just is a great Storyteller!

Ok So I really love how well the novels were adapted into the films, Percy's Voiceover Was nice to hear, As the Movie was very enjoyable in 3D.  So I am gonna say it Know I Liked Pierce Brosnann As Chiron Originally but Anthony Head (Merlin- King Uther Pendrgon, Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Giles) did A good job and brought A Differennt more interesting Character into the allready character of the wise old Centaur. Mr. D, or Dionysus Was just Hilarious to watch. I Love it How He forgets the heroes names constantly, And of Course Leave it to A immorrtal character to bring Humour into difference in religions. As i said earlier the 3D was spectacular, it was a Bit dim at times but nonetheless awsome! I Loved Clarrice she was always in the books the know it all bigmouth that you love to hate! But regardless I was Happy Clarrisse's big mouth ness was there thru the whole movie! Annabeth, man shes a strong female Character I like watching her, in the first film she was Great in this one i could feel aand see the emotions \this poor girl was going thru, but i was glad to see her come out of Her shell and befriend Tyson! next Tyson, Now for young cyclopes he sure was cute, In the books I imagined him differently but he was still such a great character, I love his bumbling around And how he totally feels devoted to his older brother Percy as well as looks up to him! Grover, I Love Grover such A great character, In the Disney Hercules we had Philotetes A Satyr with an attitude, and now nearly 20 years later We have grover A smart, funny, hillarious Saytr who Backs Our heroes And Has his own small development in the books. Percy, Logan Lerman, Percy He is such A great young Hero for todays generation as well As the generation from the 90's, but I really enjoyed Logan's Performance here as it was, I think He developed Percy's charm as well as the hero's heart! But good on ya ser. Now Onto the bad guy of the film, Luke son of Hermes, his anger is there still Along with his badasserry, Jake Abel thank you for making A good badguy ...... in a way! Luke allways seems to be 2-3 steps ahead of our heroes which makes him interesting to me, Jake Makes Us want to sympathize with ALL his bad Boy roles He plays in which makes me wonder at times. But Back to luke poor kid dealing with he is a) a demi god with a father who loves him but never sees him, and b) He has seen one of His friends die when he was brought to the camp. A, Luke lad how do you deal with your abandenment issues, you start Plotting to take over the universe by trying to first frame poor Percy, And this time you try releasing your Great grandfather lord chronos, Dude not cool!, B) luke lad you and Poor Annabbeth when i read the whole Scene it made me cry, as I watched it on the screen i nearly cried, Luke you saw a friend die for You and Annabeth, And basically the girls father turns her into a tree but what do you do you Poion your tree friend , man totally Not cool!

Regardless of all the characters thats that. Well the movie had Beautifull vistas And So much detail in it, I know the mechanized bull, ( I forget what they called it) was sweet looking  and was A whole great scene! the training piece in the beggining was awsome to watch. Mr.D`s house was awsome as well! OH ya before I forget, So the whole Gray sisters  driving was hilarious, i Love all three acressess and was Laughing the whole time In the theater. The Oracle Was wicked and I enjoyed how she spoke.

Well Thats that Warrior goddess out! go see sea of monsters it is A Action Pacd funny film heck take your cousins and whole family!

My Autistic Speech

So I Apologize first hand for the poor sound quality but thats what you get. So as many of you know I Gave the speech last weekend, March 23rd Saturday. it was a very formal evening for me, GODS I WAS IN A DRESS. LOL But It was an enjoyable night As we were joined by The Rossaland singers and 2 lovely speakers, Myself and another lovely speaker. We had a lovely dinner and a lovely evening. But I have 2 lovely videos for you fine folks one before the speech and the speech. So I went off topic, off what I said but thats ok because I am who i am And thats that so here Is my Speech which was infront of me the whole time. enjoy!

Good evening ladies and gentlemen! My name is Crystal Bermel, I Am 21 years old and I have a disability. My Disability is called Autism, Specifically Aspurgurs. 

You see this is an ability this is an ability that affects most of my body and its senses, from sound, smell, touch, taste and sight, These from worst effected to least effected. Try if you will imagining your senses increased 10 fold when your normal feeling then when your sick amp it x100. You see when it comes down to it we are like a finely tuned piece of machinery.

You see I am A Artiste kind of gal, I am both an artist as well as an art appreciator. Now many people either know or they don't, You see all Aspies, as we are known as, have a Special talent that is unique to each of us as well as helps to define who we are and what field we go into. Now this ability is the blessing its the senses issues thats the curse. You see Aspies see the world thru their special ability, it gives them a weird understanding of their world. You see My ability is words, words are my strong point and its thru words that I jot down poetry and my stories, Its thru words that peace is made from. You See There are many abilities Words, sound, colours,smells is just a start, the basics if you will.

We the aspies are mostly affected with our sense of hearing. You see I like certain things loud but a lot of my problem is in the frequency and pitch of sounds, And of course new sounds, You see when a person with autism is born are hearing systems need to be turned on by the aspie or we have to learn it literally. We have to learn like a sound board technician we have to learn how to control everything in our auditory area. For me cause i have such fine controls there's only a few things in my world that can actually hurt me, Thunder, sirens from ambulance,fire truck,police car.), high pitch beeps and A whistle. You see because of my sensory issue in high school I had a hard time going to dances and such.

Also we aspies are wired differently so you see what seems like an easy answer like “how are you today?” Becomes a awkward silence as our brain starts searching for a logical and mind blowing answer, you see a normal person would give a usual one worded answer but we aspies have a harder time keeping our answers short, at least those of us who can talk to a person and/or is comfortable talking to said person. Mind you if your me, A very friendly person who is easy to talk with..... most of the time, then you see I like putting a dramatic flare into my answers.

We Aspies have a hard time with boundaries as well, It took me nearly all my 21 years but its still hard sometimes. But it was one of the harder skills to learn. You see high school is the worst for it and when you are an aspie its that much harder going thru high school in my hometown you see I was the outcast there then I moved and became the stranger whose good with words then my final move i was accepted. Acceptance, friends, a life, is hard to have when your an aspie, this brings me to the touch factor. I dislike any one touching me and its one of those things that I just cant handle at times especially when I am feeling down and out of it.

Most of the time when Id choose to be alone Id pull out my legos and Id let my creative mind roam and Id build. You see i had a great natural instinct for being able to build my lego sets by the book it took me usualy 10 minutes then id take it apart and rebuild , And I use that same basic instinct in cooking. You see alot of my Instincts are all natural and come from being an aspie, You see one thing most aspies look for in anything is it has to have some kind of artistic appeal to it. And people in general like art but for some reason we aspies are more drawn to it I believe it to be the fact that are wiring makes us.... more art inclined and i mean any and all thing that are under art.... which is practically everything around us. Now for me i am an artist i help create that which people love to look at and read about, I both draw and Write, Just like my main principle my style is.... drawn stain glass and I build the picture as I build lego, the principle changes when I get into writing. Now In high school it was figured in my grade 9 and 12 English class that because my writing ability is strong and ..... different and that if I was to get proper credit and the right mark 2 different teachers had too allays or near always mark mine last and use a different system. Now this is because when I am writing A teacher a person should give me a basic out line and leave me write but In high school things are different and theres a system and theres all these rules well when it comes to a person like me those rules and system of doing things hindered on my creative process and hence my English marks in 2 grades had gotten hurt. You see my grade 11 English was interesting in that my lovely teacher realized my potential and instead of being a hard case as my grade 8 and 10 teacher took me aside and did similar but differently and gave me loose but rigid guidelines to follow and i passed her class well. I still write moor poetry than anything else and a few short stories. You see i found a different outlet thru my love of Star Wars and writing and combined them, By Joining in on Star Wars Role play on face book. It gives me exactly what i need and A chance to be a part of one of my favourite things.

You see being what we are is troublesome since we have 2 parts to ourselves, 1^st part Is the part of us that wants to be energetic and out going, the part people mainly see of me and the part that I call normal, 2^nd part Is what I call our dark passenger. Now this Part is the part of us that wants us to fail this is where we don't like people, the part that is people phobic in a sense or hermit y. Now its kind of like we have a yin and yang inside of us always fighting for dominance over the other. Now you see all people in all that we do must have a balance between 2 or more parts of our lives and if we don't its chaotic, now in us aspies we are constantly at war with ourselves. Now Autism is ranged there is me who at the top is a chameleon in society and A near perfect balance, Now go to the bottom of the spectrum and what do we find? Yes we find the opposite A Person Who is noticeably quite and can speak few words and is completely out of balance with themselves.

Now Even tho At the top its easy, NO it isn't Because at that moment the chameleon a very good hider! Is constantly at war and the balance that is within is when life for me is the hardest. You see everyday I wake up and fight an internal battle that is always raging. You see this is the main reason the more talky ones you find our frightening the harshest battles internally And why I have days where i am completely moody and even tho writing and drawing Our my helpers as well as a part of my abilities as well they do help soothe me at times.
